I am including lunch today as an extra special bonus. Get excited.
It’s a salad. But not just any salad. No. This is a pear and goat cheese salad. The pear was a little iffy - borderline rotten, I’ll admit - but this still tasted good because goat cheese tastes good and I would eat it on pretty much anything. Today I chose to eat it on romaine lettuce and walnuts. I also had some strawberries:
Surprising, I know. But don’t forget about the goat cheese and pear salad, which is new and different.
Then this afternoon I had some yogurt:
There is jam in it. Some more jam actually went right from the jar into my mouth:
This stuff is disappearing so fast, it scares me. I think I might have to write to the company because I am 99% sure that there absolutely are not 18 servings in this little jar. Six, tops.

Did you always like plain yogurt? If not, how do you convert? What brand do you use? I have tried fage which everyone seems to love but find it overly thick. I would like to move away from artificial yoplait but am finding it really hard. when I add in jam or honey to plain it doesn’t really save calories. What do you usually add in?
Every time I think I come home with a nice set of strawberries I’ll see yours and realize that I came with crap!
I has a sad….
I think I might have to write the ice cream company and tell them that there’s no way i can get 14 serving out of the container!
Double up on the jam jars next time! :0)
I hate it when food companies get the servings wrong.. it happens often to me… they need to get these things correct.
Do food containers EVER have the correct number of servings on them? I always get about half as much out as they say I should. Who eats the teeny little portions that are considered as a serving anyway? It’s ridiculous. Especially when it comes to delicious things like jam.

No, I didn’t always. I used to eat Dannon Light n Fit all the time, but I decided to give up artificial sweeteners awhile ago. I just started buying plain and mixing in honey or jelly or fruit. Now I like it all by itself, but I do still usually mix something in. I would try plain with something mixed in, and then slowly cut back on the amount. It might not save calories but I’d rather have a little real fruit or honey than the artificial stuff, and I think it tastes better too. Also, buy the lowfat and not the fat free…it’s much better I think.

Really? I’m sure yours are fine. I’ve been finding really ripe ones lately.

Good idea. I’ve got your back.

Now that would be bad news.

I know. It makes me feel like I’m eating more than I should be. Or maybe I’m eating more than I should be.

No one does. NO ONE.
Loved the fancy salad- doesn’t it make you feel like such a grownup? If you talk to someone about this weekend at a party or something this weekend you can be like, “and then I had this pear and goat cheese salad that was divine” and they will immediately identify you as the classiest, worldiest person on the planet!
