Sorry for the little hiatus there. It’s been like a thousand degrees here everyday and I’ve been too busy whining to post.
However, I would say that this pretty much sums up my eating this weekend:
I have been putting this mainly on pretzels and my fingers. I’m pretty sure that’s how it was meant to be consumed.
Today I kind of have a stomach ache and I couldn’t fall asleep last night so I’m really tired and it’s still unbearably hot so my eating has been a little off. No snacks yet, but I’ll keep you updated because I know you just die of suspense when I don’t show you my strawberries and Z Bars and yogurt.


ugh, i am SO over this heat wave. it’s 95 here in d.c. today and with the humidity feels like well over 100. i ventured out during lunch time but didn’t last long…
It’s 96°F here - not to mention the humidity is at about 100% Awful!!

Man, all this fig talk is making me really need to go out and buy some figs.
I love the super simple ingredient list on the jam lid. And the use of our finger as the main eating utensil. Oh how I love it.

You should really try it with cheese. I recommend port salut or chevre. I usually buy the Dalmatia kind (which is probably cheaper than the WS, but I’m not sure). I think it’s about $5.
fig jam + pretzels sounds like a delish combination… I want to try it w/ grape jam now!

I actually did have it with bread and cheese last night - we had some goat cheese and manchego and it was amazing.

I actually think pretzels are good with all jam. And honey. And peanut butter. The possibilities are endless, really.
Oh yes - my finger makes a great peanut butter scoop! I guess I just never thought of it for jam… but I guess it really would work for anything in a jar/bowl/cup/plate… I’m totally going to eat with my fingers all the time now!
Okay maybe not at work, they already think I eat weird there…
