I was really busy all morning and therefore slightly stressed, so I decided to take Jack on a little mid-day walk and get some fresh air.
We stopped at a cafe and I had an iced coffee:
And I bought Jack a little bone biscuit:
He carried it in his mouth all the way home:
And then left half of it in crumb form all over the carpet. Portion control.
Hahah, portion control. What a smart dog.
My dog would have housed that biscuit in .2 seconds. I am very impressed by Jack.

Does that collar thing work well? My dog is kind of a maniac, an 85 pound maniac, so I would pretty much try anything to stop him from dragging me around. I also need to do something about the ferocious barking. Everytime he sees a dog he hasnt played with, he barks like a madman, and then proceeds to cry like a baby when I drag him away, giving me a “what the hell, man?” look.

Jack kind of defeated this collar, but he’s a special case. It definitely works much, MUCH better than just a regular leash, so I would give it a try for sure, but it doesn’t work as well as they say it does, at least not for him. I would recommend it though. It doesn’t help with barking - it’s not a muzzle. But Jack barks maybe once a week, tops, so we don’t really have a problem there.

jack so cute! I love dogs! I wish I had one too, but my apt is too tiny.
Oh dear. Be glad that Jack is able to carry things. Calvin gets tired from carrying around twigs (like mighty trophies of glory), will drop it, then stare at it whimpering hoping that I’ll take it home for him.
