Where is the sun?

It’s a lovely day here in Brooklyn. Rainy, windy, and about 48º. No lie, I wore my winter coat to the gym this morning, and if I’d had time to find them, I would have definitely broken out the gloves, too.

That, combined with the fact that my neighbor is blasting something that strongly resembles polka music, makes me think that someone is out to get me. I actually don’t even know what polka music sounds like, but I’m pretty sure this is it.

Anyway, for lunch I had a BLTA, which means I added avocado:

And a salad:

I also had a few bites of last night’s leftovers because I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to eat them. I eventually decided that I’m just going to put it off until they go bad have them for dinner tomorrow.

Oh, and I also had coffee this morning, but I think we’ve seen enough coffee around here, am I right?

I do the same trick with the stupid leftovers.

I just leave them until they go bad and then I make my husband eat them.

I feed them to the baby.

I always get mad at myself when I leave leftovers until they’re inedible. It’s like a free pass for a meal I don’t have to make OR pay for!

In other news, today’s weather is balls. Good thing I made the excellent clothing choice of wearing a dress today and spent my walk to work struggling to make sure I didn’t flash anyone in all this windy nonsense.

Ahh, I know!! I had to wear my heavy coat outside too - luckily I was only outside for a short time, since it was RAINING LIKE CRAZY. Grr, we need sunshine.

Polka music?? Eek!! I’m sorry that you have to endure that, haha.

Yeah it’s freeeezing in Boston today too. I seriously wanted to bust out my gloves and hat. And, of course, I picked today to wear capris. Oof.

Oh, nothing beats when I worked at Applebees and was forced to listen to MEXICAN POLKA that the guys in the kitchen played nonstop.

So cold here in VA as well. But now I really want to make a BLTA, never actually had one but I can imagine the greatness of it.
