Popcorn scares puppies

Jack just had a major freak out. We are seriously low on groceries and my snack options were limited to the little butt piece of bread, most likely dry or possibly with a little jam, or a random bag of microwave popcorn I found in the back of a cabinet. I don’t even like microwave popcorn that much, but I think the choice here is obvious.
Anyway, so I stick it in the microwave and Jack hears it turn on, walks over to it and starts inspecting the situation. Then the popping starts and the poor little pup flies across the room, runs under the coffee table, jumps up, runs behind the couch, has second thoughts, determines that the coffee table is, in fact, a better shelter, and dives back under it to ride out the two minutes and forty seconds of torture.
I gave him a little kernel for his trouble. Then I ate the rest:
Aww, poor Jack!! At least he got some popcorn in the end :0)
Popcorn kinda scares me too, hehe.

Poor puppy! My pup used to LOVE popcorn. He even got a bit of an attitude about it after awhile and wouldn’t eat the burned pieces anymore, only the good ones.
My puppy used to eat popcorn right off of my tongue he used to love it.
I probably should have kept that to myself huh? Oops…
that is the cutest title of a blog i’ve ever seen! poor puppy.

My dog mysteriously sprints into the kitchen at the sound of whipped cream being dispensed. I later found out chris had been putting some in Noah’s dog food bowl every time he used it. Now my dog has to have whipped cream mixed into his bowl before he’ll even touch his food.
hahaha jack is adorable!
