I might be sleep walking right now
April 30, 2008 by arielle
Our lovely landlord was here until MIDNIGHT last night replacing a pipe in our bathroom wall, which required the use of a very loud machine that may or may not have been a chain saw and a man who likes to sing. That’s right. A man who likes to sing while using a chain saw. Neither of these things are very conducive to a good night’s rest.
So, we didn’t even try. Instead, we sat on the couch like zombies and attempted, albeit half-heartedly, to keep Jack from growling at the singing man and his chain saw.
You might think that after four hours of this, the project would be completed.
You’d be wrong.
Needless to say, I barely made it through spinning this morning, and I am on my second cup of coffee:

Plumbers love to sing. I have yet to meet one who didn’t sing or at least whistle while he worked.
I think it’s because they know they’re getting eleventy hundred dollars per hour.
That’s something to sing about!
Oh you poor thing! I hope your bathroom is fixed soon! What a bummer!
yikes. this is why i will not get the floor my dog ate replaced anytime soon. i do not like strangers in my house and i do not want my place torn up.
im kind of in love with your fruit bowl.
Oh goodness - we’re having remodeling done on a few of our bathrooms here, so I know what you’re going through!! Hang in there!! We’ll get through this!! :0)

It’s true.

Yeah it sucks. But not as bad as my upstairs neighbor, who has been having to use the bathroom in an empty apartment downstairs all week. Now that’s a bummer.
Kelly -
Smart decision. The fruit bowl loves you too.

A few?!? How many bathrooms do you have?
I hope he was at least a good singer.
It looked like a hurricane came by, a jolly singing one (sorry just had to add that)
