I had a BLT for lunch made with Morningstar fake bacon and it CREEPED ME OUT. Have you seen this stuff?
Do they have to make fake fat, too? Cause I could do without that. And when you cook it, it gets all curled up and juicy like real bacon. It’s really gross. But my sandwich was rather enjoyable:
I also had raisins and pretzels:
And this morning, a kiwi:
I had another one after this. I would have just said I had two in the first place, but I’m not sure how to make kiwi plural. I think it’s one of those tricky ones.
This afternoon, I had some plain yogurt, raisins, flax and a little brown sugar:
I took this picture after I started eating, so I had more than this. Much more, actually. Too much. My stomach hurt after. Also, is it just me, or does flax have a weird fishy taste? Must me those omega-3s.
Now I have to go take Jack on a walk before he pees on me. It’s been waaaay too long. He looks like he’s going to throw himself out the window right now.
Oh man I hate that fake bacon. I tried it a few times, and still can’t do it. Morningstar is so good at fake sausage so I was sure it could be a hit, but I was sorely mistaken.

i had some funky fake canadian bacon that tasted like cornbread but not in a good way. it was on sale & i’m a whore for a “good deal”.
Ew that bacon looks so gross!! How on earth did they think people would find that appealing to look at?
Then again… people eat a variety of disgusting looking things, haha.
EEW! it looks like my little dogs chewy “steak” biscuits. why the need for the fake fat? you’d think they would put their effort into making fat look like NOT FAT. I’m just saying.
Good to know I am not the only one that puts cherry tomatoes on my sandwhichs.

Thank goodness the Yves veggie pepperoni doesn’t look or really taste like real pepperoni– I like it though!

OK, that fake fat is unneccessary…I mean, it’s scary. I’m scared.
It was good tho? i havn’t seen the fake bacon yet, but I love almost all of MORNINGSTAR’s other products…Hmm, as I said before, I’m afraid, but extremely intrigued
I avoid “fake meats,” so that “bacon” creeps me out anyways, haha :0)
Everything else in this post looks delicious!! Especially the kiwi slices - yum!!

waaaay sketchy looking. it looks like plastic bacon that a kid would play with (i mean…we all played with play bacon, right??). did it taste like real bacon?

I have no idea why they thought the fat was necessary. But I ate this, so yes, people do eat a variety of disgusting things

You know, I was planning on having this again for my lunch today. Thanks. It does look like a dog biscuit. Chris bought our dog treats with BONE MARROW in them the other night. They are so gross. I hate putting them in my coat pocket for walks because sometimes I put other stuff in my coat pocket, like figs and pretzels, and I’m scared there are bone marrow remnants now.
And they are grape tomatoes. So you are still the only one who uses cherry, sorry.

I really kind of hate real pepperoni, so I’m not sure that I’d like fake. But Yves does have some good lunch meats! Yes, Kiwis. I was thinking it might just be Kiwi. Because I always say things like “Do you want some Kiwi?” not “Do you want some Kiwis?” I am way over thinking this now.

It is, it’s true. I think it’s pretty good. I love Morningstar too, but I’ve got to give it to Smart Deli in the fake bacon department.

I played with fake hamburgers, personally. I haven’t had real bacon in so long, I really have no idea. It was salty.

You know…it’s weird how you and I lead almost the exact same existence.
