Honestly have never tried a fig in my life but after seeing your blog and comments about not being able to resist them, not only am I scared to try them for getting hooked on them, but also curious as to what they taste like? To me, they look like they’d taste like a raisin??
Lauren - They do kind of taste like a raisin. I’d never had one either and I hate fig newtons (I mean, if I’m going to have a cookie, I want a COOKIE, not fruit, thanks) but they always serve them with the cheese at this wine bar I go to and I really liked them. Try them. The little seedy things are the best. You’ll see. And there are worse things to get hooked on
hahaha, duh.
