Nice day

Today ended up not being so bad - it hasn’t even rained yet, and the sun even came out for an hour or so. Unfortunately that was the hour or so that I was busy working! But we still walked Jack down to the park this afternoon so he could act like a maniac, make a few dog friends, and scare one little girl silly by sniffing up her skirt. He’s a constant embarrassment
When we got back I definitely needed a snack (it’s a pretty long walk, much longer than our usual). I had a scoop of peanut butter with some pretzel sticks for a change:
I actually had a snack between breakfast and lunch today, too, which is unusual for me but I was really hungry for some reason. I split a banana and peanut butter with Chris:
You can’t see the PB, but it’s there - maybe like a teaspoon or so?
Also - a while ago I posted about fake chicken salad. Yesterday I found the Trader Joe’s brand:
It is much better - and a little less processed - than the stuff I was using before, by Lightlife. Try it - I made the same chicken salad with it today and it was really good. These strips aren’t as slimy out of the package either, which is always a plus. The Lightlife ones definitely aren’t winning anyone over with their looks.
Here’s my sandwich, I had it with hummus and carrots:

What brand peanut butter do you use? It doesn’t look very thick!
I love hummus and carrots! Also could you post your chicken salad recipe?
Hey Emma - this is the Trader Joe’s natural. It’s just peanuts and salt. It is a little thin because we just opened a new jar - it gets thicker towards the bottom.
I’ll post the chicken salad recipe now - it’s super easy.
Im glad I saw you got the TJ’s Chicken Strips, I saw them the other day, didnt end up getting them cause I didnt know how they were. Ill definitly be sure to pick them up next time.
Yeah, I’d recommend it. It’s very similar to the frozen Morningstar strips, if you’ve ever had them, but much less processed.
