Okay, So I Was Wrong

Perhaps I was a little tough on Ultimate Conditioning, because turns out it was a little tougher on me than I thought! I woke up this morning to sore arms and sore hamstrings, always a good sign. I should have known - there were push-ups involved, and those always leave me hurting the next day. I may just have to go back. We’ll see
I also had a bit of a sore head from happy hour, but that’s my own fault! This morning it was back to my regular treadmill time and some lifting, but as I predicted, it was a little rough getting out of bed. Usually a work out wakes me up, but I’m still a little tired today and I have a ton of stuff to do for work. It’s raining outside, too, which makes me feel even more sleepy!
I had the same old breakfast when I got back from the gym (maybe this weekend when we go grocery shopping I’ll pick up some different things to make this a little more interesting…I’m not bored with my omelets, but you probably are). I’m waiting for my coffee to percolate now:
If you’ve never used a percolator, you should go out and buy one right now. I’m serious. It makes the best coffee! I was skeptical at first, but my mom talked me into it (and actually felt so strongly about it that she sent me this one) and I’m a convert. It’s really good, and easy, especially if you grind your own beans either at home or at the grocery store. You just have to set the grind to be pretty rough, otherwise you end up with a lot of grit in your coffee.
Tonight I’m making flounder for dinner because Chris and I will both be home, so I’ll post the recipe when I’m done. Have to figure out what to make with it - hopefully I’ll be inspired later!
